Learning Care Group Employee Referral Policy 

We cannot accept retroactive referrals (referrals made after someone has already started).  

To ensure payment of the referral bonus, referrals should be made before the new hire starts. The way it works is the employee goes to the myreferrals app or the website and enters their friends info. The system automatically sends an email to the friend with our employment application. If hired then 90 days later the employee automatically gets a bonus.  

  

Award Eligibility 

An employee who refers a qualified candidate will be eligible for a taxable monetary bonus, once the candidate has completed 3 months of continuous active employment. The bonus eligibility is as follows:  

  • $250 for all hourly non-management school positions and Support Central Temporary Positions (employees through an agency do not qualify)  
  • $500 Referral Bonus for all school management (and Support Central) positions 

In order to receive the referral bonus, the referring employee and the new hire must still be active employees at the time of the payout. The bonus is paid through payroll and will be subject to the applicable payroll taxes. 

IMPORTANT! Submitting a referral must be completed by the start date of the new employee. Referrals made after their start date will result in not earning a bonus. 

Employee Eligibility 

All employees are eligible to participate in this referral program with the following limitations:  

  • Field/School Management (Assistant Directors though Division Vice President) and Support Central Management are not eligible for referral bonuses for referrals for any locations/departments for which they have supervisory oversight. 
  • Support Central Directors and above as well as Field and Support Central Talent Acquisition Members and HR Managers are not eligible for any referral bonus payouts. 
  • Referral bonuses are only paid for candidates who are not currently employees of the company and will not be paid for referrals of candidates who are Learning Care Group retirees, rehires (within 6 months of their last day of employment), or persons returning from a leave of absence. 
  • Referral bonuses are not awarded for referrals to franchised schools. 

  

Candidate Eligibility  

  • To be eligible referred applicants must fully meet the qualification requirements listed in the job description for the position and successfully complete all aspects of the pre-employment process.  
  • In order to receive the referral bonus, the referring employee and the new hire must still be active employees at the time of the payout. 
  • All information regarding the reason(s) for making a decision not to hire an applicant will remain strictly confidential. 

Referral Process 

To participate in this referral program, employees are required to submit referrals via https://lcg.employeereferrals.com, we do not accept paper/scanned referrals. The employee can access open jobs on this referral site and can also sign up for email, text or smartphone application alerts that highlight open positions in their area. Employees can share jobs individually or auto share through LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook or email to increase their reach and ear referral bonuses. Candidates are required to indicate who referred them for the position when completing the online application.  

Referral Ownership/ Duplicate Referral 

Candidates will stay affiliated under the referring employee for 6 months. After 6 months, if another employee refers the same candidate then the most recent referring employee will receive the bonus.   

Promotions / Campaigns 

Learning Care Group may from time to time offer limited time promotions for selected positions which may increase the amount of bonus, add prizes, or decrease the 3 month waiting period. These promotions will appear on https://lcg.employeereferrals.com.  

Program Guidelines 

The company reserves the right to deny bonus payments to any employee who improperly makes promises or assurances of employment to prospective or actual candidates, or otherwise engages in improper or inappropriate conduct related to this program or other workplace activities.
