As a Lead Teacher, you are:
- Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Engaging! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
- Learning! Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.
- Inspiring! Implement the Montessori curriculum (with assistance of the Director, a School Education Manager, Team Lead, or faculty mentor) and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences.
We want joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:
- Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field; previous lead teacher experience preferred.
- Completed a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree and coursework in early childhood education preferred.
- Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
