The 4K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We’re looking for passionate educators who are committed to lifelong learning and ready to bring energy, creativity, and professionalism to our 4K classroom.
As a Lead Teacher, You Will:
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with school district guidelines and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards
- Create joyful and effective learning experiences that prepare children socially, emotionally, and academically for kindergarten
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom where every child can thrive and feel a sense of belonging
- Build strong relationships with families, communicating regularly to support each child’s development
- Ensure adherence to all licensing and program requirements, including documentation, assessments, and ongoing quality improvement
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
- DPI certification (ECE license or Elementary Ed license with pre-K or K endorsement)
- Experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans
- Familiarity with WI licensing and classroom best practices
